...and
welcome to the Tar Hut Records web site! Thanks very much for dropping
in and supporting us. We thought you might be interested in knowing a
little more about us -- what we're about, what we like and who we are.
Tar Hut Records' main office is in Boston with an office in Chicago. We're
committed to bringing you the best possible music - whatever we really
love and think you should hear - power pop, rock, alt-country, polka,
klezmer - we love it all. We believe, and are faithful to one statement
- music first, everything else later. Enjoy the site!

DAVID KLUG (Chicago)
- handles most of the A&R and public relations duties. He's a marketing
guy, and travels extensively throughout North America, which permits him
to see lots and lots of bands. He also has undergraduate and graduate
degrees in forensic science, so contact him as necessary for crime scene
examinations. The pile of tapes at his house is stunning, and Dave is
the biggest pure music fan we've ever seen.
